3. Chrome Extension Permissions

Our extension requires specific permissions to function. Here's what each permission does:

3.1 activeTab

Accesses the current webpage only when you click the extension icon. This allows us to read CSS properties and DOM structure of elements you want to clone.

3.2 scripting

Injects our visual interface into webpages to display hover effects, selection highlights, and the cloning panel.

3.3 downloads

Enables exporting your cloned design as a JSON file to your computer.

3.4 storage

Stores your authentication session, preferences, and analytics locally in your browser.

4. Data Storage and Security

We take data security seriously:

• Encryption: All passwords are hashed using industry-standard encryption
• Secure transmission: Data is transmitted over HTTPS
• Database security: We use Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) policies to protect user data
